ロボットとしてのデザインにするか、

巨神という扱いで考えてゆくか。

まだ思案中。これからも描き進めるゾ！

A myth-inspired robot design.

This piece is an updated and

revised version of an old rough sketch

I drew years ago.

I’m still deciding whether to develop

it fully as a ‘robot’ or treat it more like

a ‘colossal deity.’

The concept is still evolving, and

I’ll keep pushing the design forward!”

というオーダーを受けたのを思い出します〜！

赤は夜間作業用の赤色灯の影響ですね。

天空のスターバックスという事。

天空感を味わいたくて行ってきました＿。

いやぁ、映えですねぇ〜。

at Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Omokado.
They call it the “Sky Starbucks.”
I went to check it out ‘cause

I wanted to feel that sky vibe.
And wow—it’s totally Insta-worthy!

最近読んでる本です！

​

言わずと知れた「海底二万里」！

子供の時は児童文学版で読んでましたが。

原作版、改めて読むと非常に学術的なので

ビックリしてます！

 

魔法師グリーシャの騎士団シリーズの

『太陽の召喚者』は カバー買い！

ヒロインの設定が地図作成者、

というのが興味深いです。

 

変わり種は。

アーシュラ・k・ル=グウィン先生の

『空飛び猫』かな。

絵本の文庫版なのでサクッと読めました！

 

そして「マクベス」...シェイクスピアは必須だね！

Here are some books I’ve been reading lately!

​

The classic

Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea!
I read the children’s version when I was little,
but reading the original now, I’m surprised by

how academic it is!

​

I picked up Shadow and Bone from

the Grisha Trilogy just because I liked the cover!
It’s really interesting that the heroine is a mapmaker.

​

A bit of an unusual pick is Catwings

by Ursula K. Le Guin.
It’s a paperback edition of a picture book,

so I read it in no time!

​

And Macbeth... Shakespeare is a must, after all!

​

A thrilling adventure adventure!
Manga is also good.

ドキドキの冒険活劇！
マンガもイイな。

『放送50周年記念

「宇宙戦艦ヤマト 全記録展」』

場所は渋谷西武、渋谷のど真ん中です。
こんな資料があったのかぁ～と

感嘆しまくりでした。
松本零士先生の初期のスケッチが

展示されていた事が価値大ですね！

“Space Battleship YAMATO

: All Records Exhibition.”

The place is Shibuya Seibu,

in the middle of Shibuya.
I was amazed at the amount of material

that was available.
The fact that Mr. Leiji Matsumoto's

early sketches were on display was of

great value!

Mono-wheeled fighting vehicles and

Multi-legged tanks are interesting motifs !

The original drawing was created in 2015!
I colored it a little bit while commuting

on the train about 2 years ago.
I colored them with Copic markers.

元の絵は何と2005年作成！

スキャン後にフォトショップで色調補正、

トリミングを施してフィニッシュ！

This is a fantasy-flavored painting of

a beautiful woman.
The original picture was created

in 2005!

After scanning, I corrected the color tone

and trimmed the image in Photoshop

to finish!

Starting with art setting and props.
I also participated in coming up with

ideas for sci-fi gadgets!

After the screening, we had dinner

with Fukui-san and the others.
Even the cast members were there.
It was a really fun party!

And the night in Ginza continues

to grow late~♪

個人の作品のみでの、一つの美術館での展示。
中々出来るものでは無いですよ！

場所が京都で〔もののけ〕というのも。
さもありなん、ですね！

held this year.
Takashi Murakami Mononoke Kyoto!

It was an impressive exhibition!
It was an exhibition of only individual works

in a single museum.
It's not something you can do very often!

And the fact that it was held in Kyoto

and called“Mononoke” is no surprise!

It's natural, isn't it?
